Drew arrived safely and I was almost not late to the airport but it is Los Angeles and in my defense a car was on fire on the 405, so, hi! Welcome to my hood!
The highlights real quicklike before we head off to the beach:
- He loves the guest room! He said it was even better in person than the pictures. BY THE WAY, adding the Holiday Joy oil to the mix was genius if I do say so myself. Everyone loves the smell of Christmas and it kind of made up for the new carpet smell from the new rug. That oil is on amazon but for way too much money IMO, but it’s basically a mix of pine essential oil and cinnamon oil so pretty easy to make at home.
- Frankie was a real butthead the first day so I bought her some catnip and now she is high as a kite but way calmer.
- We have been talking all about our futures and our business ideas and life philosophy stuff and I feel very optimistic and inspired. Also, that brings me to the gin & tonic hah hah
Drew showed me how to make the fanciest gin & tonic of my lifetime. It has this special liqueur made out of elderflowers and it smells like France.
Ingredients
- Hendricks Gin
- St. Germain Liqueur
- Tonic water
- Limes
- Ice
Directions
Put the ice in your glasses first. Squirt a little lime juice on the ice. Then add one jigger of gin, and then add a little bit of tonic water. I don’t know how much but it was about 1/4 of a small tonic bottle per glass. Stir. Then on top, drizzle about half a small jigger of St. Germain Liqueur on top, don’t stir. IT’S AMAZEBALLS.
