Yesterday’s Hello Fresh meal was a pan-fried dover sole with a tangy citrus-olive sauce, roasted potatoes and green beans. I had half left over which I brought to work today for lunch. But then I realized I’d brought fish for lunch, which didn’t smell fishy when I made it, but now I am paranoid I’ll be the lame-o person who brought FISH to heat up in the COMMUNAL MICROWAVE. I had to wait until everyone cleared out of the break room which wasn’t until now.
And that is the scintillating true story of how I came to eat lunch at 3:30 in the afternoon.
Other groundbreaking news to share: My prototype slouchy cozy sock is almost done, I only need to figure out how I want to knit the toe. The Captain was suitably impressed, so he is a keeper.
